This place is fabulous if you want to rent eBikes! We found them via a Google search and they were great – amazing customer service, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Nic picked out bikes for my grown kids and me (my kids went with the medium width tires and I got the big fat tires!), showed us how to use the bikes, and gave us an idea of where to go, including a map! We rode to San Clemente, had lunch at a cute pizza place, then rode back. We met Shawn, the owner of Synaptic Cycle, after the ride, and he is a pleasure. The whole experience broke the fun meter – thank you Synaptic Cycle! By the way-I recommend wearing helmets – they come with the rental price and it’s best to be safe than sorry (my mom pitch).
