Joe, the founder of Synaptic Cycles, has been an avid cyclist for over 20 years, participating in numerous cycling events before getting bitten by the endurance cycling bug. Since that point, he has gone on to finish multiple double century bike rides (200 miles in one day) and has earned the California Triple Crown award for finishing three California double centuries in one calendar year.

Synaptic Cycles is a Dana Point, CA based bicycle rental company, specializing in road bicycle rentals for business and vacation travelers. We offer concierge service to our clients, delivering and picking up the bicycle from the client at their hotel or vacation rental. While our primary area of service is Orange County and San Diego County, we will deliver and pick up bicycles in the Greater Los Angeles Area for an additional fee.

Our business was founded in 2010 when we decided to address the needs of traveling road cycling enthusiasts. Being road cyclists ourselves, we understand the difficulty and cost of traveling with a bicycle and the anxiety of not knowing whether the airlines will get your bike to your destination in one piece.

Our passion is to provide high quality road bicycles to cycling enthusiasts who are traveling to this beautiful area. We want you to be free to explore our area by bicycle and enjoy your time on our roads. We will do our best to provide you with everything you need to enjoy your time on the bike.
